About The PhotoArts Group

The PhotoArts Group, PAG, was created in 2004 when a group of photographers in Southern California joined together to show their work. The group formed under the umbrella of The Escondido Arts Partnership who provided both encouragement and a meeting place. The PhotoArts Group photographers began to seek out new and interesting venues to display their work on a grassroots basis by showing the group’s portfolio to the owners of various coffee houses, galleries, libraries, theaters, etc. Since its inception, the PhotoArts Group has obtained numerous venues for its shows.
The photographers in the group are both established professionals and emerging artists. The work covers a wide variety of styles and media ranging from traditional gelatin silver to old and new alternative processes and digital images.
