Current Show - Photoshopography
Photoshopped....verb...to alter or adapt a photograph through digital manipulation. This is my definition of Photoshopped. It has become so accepted that PhotoShop is the method used for processing digital images that we use the term as a verb.
We have smartphones with so many apps to edit our photos it is impossible to keep track of all of them. There are so many plug-ins for PhotoShop your head will spin. We have "Pads" that allow us to take photos and then edit them with a gazillion editing programs of their own. The point of this overly long and obvious tirade is...Any kind of image that has been taken from its original "pretty picture" and developed into something amazing is what I am looking for in this show.
I don't care how the image was captured or what you used to make your final breathtaking image, as long as it was done digitally. Lets show the world the possibilities of the digital photograph transformed! Send me your best, most outrageous digital photographic art for a show that will change the way people view digital photographs.
